The 'c' of the past is the 'a' of the future. (This statement describes the handwritten process in the creation of a lowercase 'a'. The letterform of 'c' was created in order to form the 'a'). This project explored and documented the creation of a handwritten letterform through time.
The act of letterforms creation through handwritting is recorded and documented through a series of flipbooks. These flipbooks are based on eight originating strokes used to create the letterforms.
