Digital Type

The digital translation of the contact points between the author’s handwritten letterforms with the transmitting medium. Contact points were mapped out on a grid which guided the creation of the digital form. Larger dots indicated a recurrence of contact points while smaller dots indicated a singular contact point. The image below illustrates the steps taken in the development of each letter.
