Poster: The Swastika

This poster draws on the language and power symbols evoke. Symbols are the most powerful communication tools that have ever existed. Because they have the ability to convey so much meaning, intent and significance in such a compact, immediately recognizable form, the effect that they have is enormous. While this number symbol has positive meaning to the Chinese community, it also has a more sinister meaning to other communities. This number symbol is one of many used by neo-nazis in their flyers; and in opening and closing greetings in letters and emails.
